Which flooring holds up best to Florida humidity?
Porcelain tile and quality vinyl plank are the usual choices for humid, sandy homes because water doesn't swell them. Laminate and wood can work in the right rooms, and we'll tell you plainly where we would avoid them.
Can you replace a few cracked tiles without redoing the whole floor?
Often, yes, as long as matching tile can still be found; leftover boxes from the original job make this much easier. If no match exists, we'll talk through options with you before anything is lifted.
Do you tile shower walls?
Yes. We set tile on bathroom and shower walls, and at the free estimate we go over the layout, the edge finish and where the cuts will fall.
Can new flooring go over my existing tile?
Sometimes. It depends on how flat and well bonded the old tile is and on the height change where rooms meet, so we check that in person before recommending it.
