Pressure Washing

What we do

We set the pressure for each surface, lighter on painted siding and stronger on bare concrete, because too much force can etch concrete or strip paint. Washing is also the first step we recommend before an exterior repaint, since fresh paint doesn't bond well to dirt and mildew.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should a driveway be pressure washed in South Florida?

There's no fixed schedule; shaded spots and areas near the coast tend to darken sooner. A good cue is when the surface looks stained or feels slippery, or before you host guests or list the house.

Will pressure washing remove oil stains?

Washing usually lightens them, but oil that has soaked into the concrete may not come out completely. We'll look at the stains during the estimate and tell you what to realistically expect.

Can you wash painted surfaces without damaging the paint?

We use lower pressure on painted siding and walls. If the paint is already peeling, washing will loosen more of it, so we'll point that out first; in that case a repaint may be the better next step.

What should I do before you arrive?

Move cars off the driveway and bring in potted plants and patio furniture if you can. We'll also need access to an outdoor hose connection.
